The venue became a hang-out for creative visionaries including; Tracey Emin, Björk, Damien Hirst, Banksy, Bowie, Alex McQueen, Jarvis Cocker, Madonna, Kate Moss, Sinéad O'Connor and Irvine Welsh.

The BN Gallery and Ayurvedic cafe further established a daytime subculture that allowed flex beyond music, into food, art and 'multimedia’. This radical programme of creative activity combined into a vibrant cultural hub that became the template for the Shoreditch we know today.
During his time at the Blue Note, Sav launched his label Nuphonic Records which, alongside the club, became a seminal platform for burgeoning music and cultural movements. Nuphonic was home to artists including David Mancuso's The Loft, Norman Jay, Idjut Boys, Xpress2, Andrew Weatherall, Ashley Beedle, Faze Action, Maurice Fulton and many more, altogether defining the disco revival and nu-house movements. The synergy between the club and the label cultivated a vibrant East London scene that nurtured energetic creative exchange, leaving an enduring legacy that continues to resonate today.
His subsequent label Tirk Records unearthed the Mercury nominated band New Young Pony Club, revived Greg Wilson's career with 'Credit To The Edit', discovered the highly acclaimed hip-hop-meets-krautrock of Fujiya & Miyagi and released solo projects by Tom Findlay, Chaz Jankel, Richard Norris and many more.

New standards in listening expectations.
Sav's club the B&T was the UK's first high-fidelity 'listening bar'. He transformed an old bank building into an acoustically treated bar/club which was totally designed around the sound system.
The studio reference audio system featured a custom built high density DJ booth with isolated SL decks, upgraded tone-arm, high sensitivity cartridge, external phono pre-amp stages and low resistance outputs connected to a Uri rotary mixer. Air conditioned amp racks, valve pre-amp stage and 10 x mono-block amps (one for each frequency and channel) powering eight custom designed F1 cabinets with isolated 22" and 18" bass drives, completed this high definition sound system that also packed a great big industrial punch.
In the early 00's Sav founded Lovebox with Groove Armada, a music event located in London's Victoria Park that set the template for the urban festival format. The 30k capacity weekender became a staple in London's event calendar, its success later sparking many emulators and a subsequent buy-out by Live Nation.
Sav later repeated Lovebox winning formula OnBlackheath with his production partner Harvey Goldsmith CBE, this time adding additional 'lifestyle' elements including curated street food, wine tasting and fine dining to a backdrop music programme that included Massive Attack, Hot Chip, Grace Jones, Thundercat, Young Fathers, Neneh Cherry, Jarvis Cocker, Primal Scream, Rodigan, Gilles Peterson, Soul 2 Soul, Erol Alkan, Seun Kuti, BadBadNotGood, NTS, Heavenly Social and many more.
